No one is more passionate on the subject of coffee than Alex Twyman. Alex fought a successful long, hard, battle with Jamaica's coffee board for the right to grow, process, roast, label and market his estate coffee himself. Alex's wife Dorothy is the estate roaster.

The breathtaking views while hiking The Old Tavern make it worth the effort to reach the estate before the mist starts rolling in midmorning. The trail leads you across the 125-acre estate through lush ferns, past waterfall and mountain stream.
