CLIFTON MOUNT GARDEN The trail to Clifton Mount begins in the Newcastle Army camp and is a 15 minute drive from Heritage Gardens. The walk is only lightly inclined.

A bank of Impatiens and Agapanthus The 1/2 hour's drive to Clifton Mount goes around and up through Newcastle directly to the garden.The property is owned by Richard Sharp and the gardens are a showpiece. The property is a working coffee farm and has a cut flower nursery.

Clifton Mount interior with cedar panelling The house is extremely picturesque and very interesting with many authentic features of a bygone time including a wooden bathtub! After the hike, the beauty of the views and gardens can be enjoyed peacefully over lunch supplied by Strawberry Hill.
