Falmouth

Directly between Ocho Rios and Montego bay, on the North Coast, lies the old city of Falmouth. The majority of the original 17th and 18th century buildings are still erect. Some are in need of repair, others are shops and a few are residences. For those interested in architecture, Falmouth, and the interior of Trelawny, are worth a visit.

It is worth driving down to the waterfront and parking so that one can stroll round the town and admire the beauty of what was once one of the busiest ports in Jamaica.
